What better way to accessorize your favorite plush toy or doll than by adding a splash of pink? Especially a pink that represents the uplifting of women?! I’ve already posted my crocheted pattern for adult sized Pussy Hats, but here is a fun way to keep your activism going, even in miniature form!
CROCHETED MINIATURE PUSSY HAT

Materials
- Worsted Weight Pink Yarn
- Crochet Hook Size I /5.5mm
- Darning Needle
Sizing
- This is to fit a head circumference measuring 11-12”
Abbreviations
- r = row
- ch = chain
- st = stitch
- sl st = slip stitch
- hdc = half double crochet
- dc = double crochet
- fpdc = front post double crochet
- bpdc = back post double crochet
- *instructions* = repeat around
Basic Structure
When lying flat, the hat will look like a square/rectangle. When worn, it gives the appearance of two cat ears peeking out! When making the hat, you will begin at the top of the hat, chaining the full width, joining the chains, then crocheting around and around. At the bottom, you will create a ribbed band to go around the forehead, then will turn the hat inside out and whip stitch the top edge where you started.
DIRECTIONS
R1: Ch 33, sl st to first ch to join, being careful not to twist the ch’s.
R2: hdc in ea st around, then sl st to first hdc to join.
R3-R6: ch 2, dc in ea st around, sl st to first to join.
R7-R8: ch 2, *fpdc, bpdc*, sl st to first FPDC to join. Finish.
Flip the hat inside out and lay flat. Taking a 15” strand of yarn, whip stitch the two layers of hat together, tie off and weave in ends. Turn right side out, and slide onto your favorite dino, doll, or stuffed animal to support women’s rights!
