Crocheting for Hockeytown

Crocheting for Hockeytown

Crocheting for Hockeytown

Brad and I will be heading to a Red Wings game in November, so I thought I’d show off my (limited, although growing) knowledge of the game by making a hat that represented the Red Wings history, specifically the Legend of The Octopus.  I’m not much for throwing a real octopus out on the rink, but found a rather fake and unharmed representative of this hockey tradition was more my style. If you want to have an awesome hat like mine, check out my Etsy Shop and I can make one just your size, or make your own little octopus (pattern just below!) and stitch it on to your favorite hat!

I used Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice brand and the color is called “Eggplant”. I hope that helps!
